จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ต้อนรับเทศกาลวันปีใหม่ของจีนจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ – เจ้าแม่ปากแม่น้ำโพ ครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ชวนทุกท่านร่วมเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีน ประจำปี 2553
เตรียมพบกับงานแห่งความยิ่งใหญ่ สุดอลังการ เพื่อต้อนรับเทศกาลปีใหม่ของจีน ที่กำลังจะกลับมาสร้างความตื่นตาตื่นใจ ให้กับพี่น้องชาวไทยและพี่น้องชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน กันอีกครั้ง กับ งานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ – เจ้าแม่ปากแม่น้ำโพ และฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีน ประจำปี 2553 ที่นอกจากจะเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และสืบสานขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี อันดีงามของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนแล้ว ยังต้องการแสดงให้เห็นถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ในแรงแห่งศรัทธา และความรักสามัคคีของชาวจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ด้วยคอนเซป “อิ่มตา อิ่มใจ อิ่มบุญ” สำหรับใครที่อยากจะร่วมเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีนอันยิ่งใหญ่ของจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ พร้อมร่วม “เคาน์ดาวน์” ปีใหม่แบบจีนครั้งแรกในเมืองไทย พบกันได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 7 – 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ณ เมืองปากน้ำโพ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์
นายวิจิตร อัศวรัตน์ ประธานคณะกรรมการจัดงาน งานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ ประจำปี 2553 กล่าวถึงการจัดงานในครั้งนี้ว่า ประเพณีนี้ได้ดำเนินการจัดมาเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยถือเอาช่วงปีใหม่ของจีน หรือวันตรุษจีนเป็นฤกษ์งามยามดีในการจัดงานประเพณีดังกล่าว โดยเริ่มจัดสืบเนื่องกันมาตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2457 นับเป็นเวลารวม 95 ปีแล้ว สำหรับการจัดงานในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว และสืบสานขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณี อันดีงามของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน แสดงให้เห็นถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ในแรงแห่งศรัทธาและความรักสามัคคีของชาวจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ผ่านกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ และเพื่อเป็นการเชิญชวนนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ ร่วมเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีนอันยิ่งใหญ่ของจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ สืบสานประเพณีที่ถือปฏิบัติสืบทอดกันมาอย่างยาวนานของชาวปากน้ำโพและเป็นการเคารพสักการะเจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ โดยในปีนี้ จัดให้มีขึ้น ในระหว่างวันที่ 7 – 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ภายใต้แนวความคิด “อิ่มตา อิ่มใจ อิ่มบุญ”
นายวิทวัส ทานชิติกุล เลขานุการคณะกรรมการจัดงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ ประจำปี 2553 กล่าวเพิ่มเติมถึงแนวความคิดของงาน ว่า ในงานนี้ ท่านจะอิ่มตากับการแสดงมากมาย ทั้งความยิ่งใหญ่ขบวนแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ ขบวนสิงโตและขบวนมังกรทอง ด้วยผู้ร่วมขบวนกว่าห้าร้อยชีวิต ปิดถนนรอบเมืองปากน้ำโพ พร้อมทั้งการแสดงที่ยิ่งใหญ่ตื่นตาตื่นใจกับการแสดงที่สั่งตรงมาจากประเทศจีน ด้วยการแสดงกวนอิมพันมือโดยคณะเทียนหลงหยวนจากปักกิ่งที่มีชื่อเสียงโด่งดังและการแสดงสวยงามเป็นที่สุด ที่หาชมจากที่อื่นไม่ได้นอกจากที่ปากน้ำโพ นครสวรรค์เท่านั้น พร้อมอิ่มใจกับความสุขที่ครั้งหนึ่งได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของประเพณีที่สืบทอดกันมายาวนานของชาวปากน้ำโพ อิ่มบุญกับการได้สักการะเจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ พร้อมชมขบวนมังกรเจ้าที่ถือเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของมังกรเทพ และพบกับลานบุญสวนเทพเจ้า เพื่อทำพิธีไหว้เทพ ขอพร สะเดาะเคราะห์ (แก้ชง) ตามธรรมเนียมอย่างถูกต้องตามพิธีการจีน บนลานพื้นที่กว่า 2500 ตรม.ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย พร้อมกับอิ่มท้องไปกับ เทศกาลอาหารจีนนานาชาติ ตลอดถนนแยกไกรลาสและมหกรรมสินค้า OTOP จาก จ.นครสวรรค์ และสินค้าดีราคาถูกอีกมากมาย
นอกจากจะได้อิ่มตา อิ่มใจ อิ่มบุญ ไปกับการร่วมงานตรุษจีนชมงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพแล้ว ในทุกค่ำคืนท่านจะได้ตื่นตาตื่นใจกับการแสดงและกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ บนเวทีจากศิลปินในดวงใจ อาทิ บี้ เดอะสตาร์ , แบล็ค วานิลา, พริกไทย ที่จะมามอบความสุขตลอดเทศกาล นอกจากนี้ท่านยังจะได้พบกับ ลานเทศกาลแสดงประติมากรรมโคมไฟ เมืองสวรรค์ โดยสร้างพระราชวังโคมไฟจำลอง และโคมไฟรูปมงคลต่าง ๆ มากมาย ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา และ เทศกาลโคมไฟนานาชาติ ที่นำโคมไฟจากนานาประเทศมาจัดแสดงให้ผู้เข้าชมงานจะได้สัมผัสบรรยากาศแสง สี เสียง ที่สวยสดงดงามของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน และถ่ายภาพเพื่อเก็บไว้เป็นที่ระลึก นอกจากนี้ยังมีริ้วขบวนแสงสีตระการตาสวยงามในคืนวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ตั้งแต่เวลา 17.00 น. เป็นต้นไป และขบวนแห่ชุดใหญ่ที่รวมทุกขบวนอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ตระการตากว่าทุกปีจะเริ่มในเช้าวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ตั้งแต่เวลา 8.00 น. เป็นต้นไปอีกด้วย
นายสุเชษฐ์ ธีรัทธานนท์ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ กล่าวว่า งานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ปากน้ำโพ และงานตรุษจีน นครสวรรค์ ถือได้ว่าเป็นประเพณีที่สำคัญของจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ที่สืบทอดกันมาอย่างยาวนาน โดยในแต่ละปีนั้น ได้สร้างความประทับใจให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติเป็นอย่างมาก ดังนั้นจังหวัดนครสวรรค์จึงได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดงานอันเป็นวัฒนธรรมที่ดีงามของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีน ดังเช่นเป็นประจำทุกปี และในปีนี้ทางจังหวัดพร้อมที่จะให้การสนับสนุนงานประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ และ งานตรุษจีน นครสวรรค์ เพื่อให้การจัดงานออกมายิ่งใหญ่สมกับเป็นความ ภาคภูมิใจของชาวปากน้ำโพ
ฯพณฯ กว่าน มู่ เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวว่า การจัดงานตรุษจีนและประเพณีแห่เจ้าพ่อ-เจ้าแม่ ปากน้ำโพ ที่จัดมาอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นประจำทุกปีนั้น เป็นเครื่องย้ำเตือนถึงความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างแน่นแฟ้นของพี่น้องทั้งสองประเทศ แสดงให้เห็นถึงวัฒนธรรมที่มีร่วมกันจนกลายเป็นความโดดเด่น เฉพาะตัวและมีความพิเศษที่แตกต่างไปจากการจัดงานโดยทั่วไป ในการจัดงานครั้งนี้ ทางสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ประจำประเทศไทย รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการจัดงาน ด้วยการนำการแสดงมาแสดงในงานดังกล่าว นั่นคือการแสดงหุ่นกระบอกจีนที่หาชมได้ยากและถือว่าเป็นแบบฉบับดั้งเดิมที่สั่งตรงมาจากเมืองจีน เลยทีเดียว

Be prepared to see the great and magnificent festival of Chinese New Year which will come back to amaze all Thais and Thai people with Chinese ancestry through the great procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, in the 2010 Chinese New Year Celebration. In addition to serving the objective of tourism promotion and preserving the tradition of Thais with Chinese ancestry, this event will also reflect the greatness of faith and unity of people in Nakornsawan through various activities under the concept of “Full View, Full Mind, Full Merit.” Anybody who wants to join in the great tradition and the first Chinese New Year’s “Countdown” in Thailand, please meet us during February 7th-18th, 2010, in Pak Nam Pho, Nakornsawan province.
According to Mr. Wijit Asawarak, Chairman of the Committee organizing holding the traditional procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, for the year 2010, this tradition has been held annually during the Chinese New Year from 1914, or for the total of 95 years. The objectives of the event in this year are: to promote tourism; to preserve and continue the good tradition of Thai people with Chinese ancestry; to demonstrate the greatness of faith and unity of people in Nakornsawan province through various activities, and; to invite both Thai and foreign tourists to join the great Chinese New Year Celebration and to pay homage to the guardian sprits of Pak Nam Pho. The event will be held during February 7th-18th, 2010, under the concept of “Full View, Full Mind, and Full Merit”.
Mr. Wittawat Tanchitikul, Secretary of the Committee holding the 2010 procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, provided further explanation on the concept of the event. In this event, people will have “Full View” from varieties of performances, including the grand procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, lion and golden dragon processions joined by over 500 people along the streets of Pak Nam Pho. In addition, there will also be a mesmerizing performance directly imported from China. This is the beautiful “Thousand Hand Guan Yin” stage performance by the famous Tian Long Yuan Group from Beijing, which you can find nowhere else but in Pak Nam Pho. Those who come to the event will have “Full Mind” for being parts of the long inherited tradition of Pak Nam Pho. They will also get the “Full Merit” from paying homage to Pak Nam Pho guardian spirits, seeing the divine dragon procession, which is the symbol of god of the dragon. Besides, they can join the Chinese ritual of worshiping the gods to ask for blessing and for eliminating bad luck on the 2500 square metres of the Garden of Gods, which is the largest worship area in Thailand. At the same time, they will get “Full Stomach” from the international Chinese food festival on the roads along the Krailart intersection, and will enjoy good products at low price from Nakornsawan’s OTOP trade fair.
Apart from getting “Full View, Full Mind, Full Merit” with the procession and fair of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, every night you will be thrilled with stage performance and activities from popular singers such as Bee The Star, Black Vanilla and the Pepper, who will bring happiness to you throughout the festival. Additionally, there will be the exhibition of lantern sculptures symbolizing the heaven, palaces, and various auspicious shapes of lanterns along the bank of Chao Phraya River. There will also be an international lantern exhibition, in which the audience can feel and take pictures of the exquisite light, color and sound among the atmosphere of Thais with Chinese ancestry. There will be splendid and colorful parades in the night of February 16th, 2010, starting from 17.00 hrs., and the greatest procession which include all magnificent parades will begin at 8.00 hrs. of February 17th, 2010.
Mr. Suchet Theeratanont, Deputy-Governor of Nakornsawan province, said that the traditional procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, and the Chinese New Year celebration in Nakornsawan had long been inherited. Since the festival held in each year gives considerably good impression to both Thai and foreign tourists, Nakornsawan province therefore emphasizes on organizing the event to demonstrate good culture of Thai people with Chinese ancestry. As for this year, the Province is ready to provide support in organizing the traditional procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, and Chinese New Year Celebration in Nakornsawan so that the event will be the great pride of people in Pak Nam Pho.
His Excellency Kwan Mu, Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, stated that the Chinese New Year Celebration and the Procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, which had been continually held each year represented the tight relationship between the two country and demonstrated the unique and special joint culture of the two country. For this year, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand is proud to be a part of the event by providing the stage performance of Chinese marionette, the original version directly imported from China, which is very unusual to see.
In conclusion, Mr. Wijit Asawarak invited all of you to join in “Full View, Full Mind, and Full Merit” with the traditional Procession of Chao Por and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, guardian spirits of the estuary, and the Chinese New Year Celebration, and join in the first Chinese New Year Countdown in Nakornsawan. The most magnificent hi-light of the event is the biggest golden (deity) dragon parade, which requires participation from over 200 people, making the overall 2,000 participants in the procession. Other performances include Beijing lion, the replica of Guan Yin goddess and the four daughters of dragon, as well as the splendid light and sound show imported from China. There will also be the performance of “A Thousand Hand Guan Yin”, together with musical performance from leading artists and the local band consisting of the students from Chao Phraya University, Nakornsawan, who won a national contest.
